GEA GRADE Refrigeration is an industrial Refrigeration contractor operating in the MENA region. The Sr. Accountant will dedicate himself to the best of his ability to improve the profitability of the Company and its affiliates. The Sr. Accountant will be reporting to Technically the Financial Manager and directly to the Country Area Manager. 

The Position 

• Posting AR and AP (trade and non-trade)

• Posting Bank transaction

• Supervision of cash transactions

• Preparation of statements and overviews as required

• Control Petty cash Handling (disbursement and collection)

• Assist in preparing the taxation reports.

• Preparing vouchers (cash, bank etc.)

• Supervision of Preparing invoices.

• Preparing (Overtime Calculation etc.)and releasing of Monthly Salaries.

• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

• Preparing local schedules up to Finalization

• Checking late payments, accounts and sending reminders.

• Handling Audits up to finalization

• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.

• Follow up on Accounts receivable and payments.

• Audit Support for GRADE Branch offices in the MENA Region

• Reconciliation of Intercompany Accounts

• Preparing financial analyses and reports.

• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

• Communicate with country GM and Finance Manager on work status and client issues that arise.

• Follow up vendor accounts.

• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.

• Perform the monthly and yearly closing of books and general ledger analysis 

Qualifications 

• Fluent in English

• Age  25-45

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• At least 5 years working experience in an accountant position

• Familiar with accounting software

• Good communicator

• Result driven

• Informing

• Stress resistant

• Persuasive

• Motivating
