In October it is time again: From October 18 - 23, the biggest and most renowned specialized exhibition for the coach and bus sector in the world - the Busworld - takes place in Kortrijk, Belgium.
Also GEA Refrigeration Technologies presents established solutions in Kortrijk this year. Besides the vehicle compressors of the GEA Bock FK-series for classical Diesel engines, new technologies have moved into the focus. In accordance to the slogan of the Busworld (“Sustainable Mobility”), special semi-hermetic GEA Bock compressors for the use in hybrid vehicles are presented by GEA Refrigeration Technologies.
These electric powered compressors offer numerous advantages for mobile applications. The aluminum version is for example about 40% lighter than comparable standard compressors and contributes to the innovative lightweight construction of vehicles.

Also the classic open-type GEA Bock FK compressors with valve plates in K- and N-design are presented at the trade fair. The K-valve plate was specifically developed for the high demands of a bus air-conditioning system. With the N-valve plate, GEA Refrigeration Technologies offers a less expensive alternative for the K-design that can be used for bus air-conditioning.
With this broad portfolio, GEA Refrigeration Technologies is prepared for today’s and tomorrow’s demands of air-conditioning systems. Individual solutions and new developments will be presented at the Busworld.
