Annette Wille, as new President Technology Center Freezer

Annette Wille has been President Technology Center Freezer for GEA Refrigeration Technologies since January of 2014.

Since January 15, 2014, Annette Wille (46) has served in the position of President Technology Center Freezer at GEA Refrigeration Technologies. In her new position, she is responsible for the global activities of GEA freezer systems: beginning with product development and manufacture – in factories in Canada, France, China, and Brazil – and to support of Country Sales Organizations.

Ms. Wille’s area of responsibility includes expansion of the freezer product portfolio, establishment of the new production plants in South America and China. She directly reports to John Ansbro, Chief Technology Officer of GEA Refrigeration Technologies – and is successor to Robert Laflamme, who has accepted new challenges outside GEA Group.

Annette Wille is Bachelor of Engineering. Before her studies leading to this degree, she worked in engineering design and development for the company Piller, specialists in power supply and uninterruptible power systems. After moving to AEG (later Alstom Energietechnik), she was active in sales and marketing, and was finally Director of Technical Marketing for Alstom’s decentral energy systems. At Alstom Holding, Annette Wille then served three and a half years as Manager of Business Development and Corporate Communications before she joined GEA Air Treatment in early 2004. Beginning in April of 2010, she was Director of Marketing at GEA Refrigeration Technologies. There, in collaboration with development, product management, and sales, she developed successful strategies for placement and sales support for various products, including freezers.

Annette Wille’s successor is Tobias Kahmann, who assumes his new position as Director of the merged departments Marketing and Market Intelligence in January.
