At EuroShop 2014 in Düsseldorf, GEA Refrigeration Technologies will present solutions for food cooling and low temperature applications. GEA exhibits will include the GEA Plusbox – a series of modularly built-up complete outdoor condenser sets for applications in cold and freezing rooms, convenience stores and filling-station shops. GEA will likewise introduce especially smooth and efficient compressors, in accordance with the trend toward natural refrigerants such as CO2 and hydrocarbons in supermarkets. The innovative highlight at this year’s fair stand will be the new GEA Bock HG44e and HG56e ranges of semi-hermetic compressors, which will be presented to the public for the first time. These two ranges offer greater efficiency, larger displacement stages, and even more compact structural design than their predecessors. These two new compressor ranges will be available beginning in April of 2014.

In the four-cylinder HG44e range, four model sizes cover the area of maximum displacement from 41.3 m³/h to 67.0 m³/h. Three six-cylinder HG56e models round the spectrum off toward the top with displacements of 73.8 m³/h to 100.4 m³/h. Both new ranges profit from a new and advanced valve plate system, electrical motors from the latest generation, and enhanced gas flow – which increase efficiency and lower energy consumption. With its new GEA Bock compressors, GEA Refrigeration Technologies offers the greatest power density in the sector, additionally with special partial-load capability. These compressors are therefore ideally suited for a wide range of requirements in retail trade, especially since each tier of performance requirements can be optimally covered by one of the model sizes.
