GEA presents an extensive portfolio of new and proven compressor solutions at the trade fair MCE in Milan

A GEA Bock 4-cylinder compressor of the new HG44e range.

At the trade fair MCE Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2014, GEA Refrigeration Technologies will present various compressor solutions for a range of applications in the air-conditioning and refrigeration sector. The highlight at this year’s fair stand will be a compressor of the new semi-hermetic compressor range GEA Bock HG44e. These new 4-cylinder compressors offer a considerably greater coefficient of performance (COP), larger displacement stages, and more compact dimensions than did the previous models from the HG4 range. With four model sizes, the GEA Bock HG44e range enables closely matched coverage of a range of maximum displacements from 41.3 m³/h to 67.0 m³/h. The HG44e compressors are ideally suited for supermarket applications.

The GEA Plusbox, a complete outdoor condensing unit.

In addition, GEA will present its new 8-cylinder GEA Bock HG88e compressor as well as the GEA Plusbox. The Plusbox is a complete outdoor condensing unit with modular design for application for cold and freezing rooms, convenience stores, and filling-station shops. In line with the current trend in efforts toward natural refrigerants, GEA will show smooth-running and efficient compressor solutions. In addition to subcritical and transcritical CO2 compressors, these solutions also include an HC compressor for use with hydrocarbons. Just as with the HC compressors, ATEX compressors are also effectively suited for operation with combustible refrigerants. For this reason, the GEA fair stand will also feature a GEA Bock ATEX compressor that has been especially designed for explosion-risk environments.

GEA Refrigeration Technologies is looking forward to your visit in Hall 24 at Stand A21 B22.
