GEA AWP valves and components satisfy the world’s strictest safety specifications – including those of the US market.

This has now been confirmed by a certificate of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The Society, founded in 1880, is well known for its strict audit, a prerequisite for issue of its certificate. Manufacturing around the world is carried on in accordance with Society standards – which above all concern quality management and production quality. Component approval by the ASME for GEA AWP safety valves is therefore not only the door-opener for the US market: it also strengthens the trust in GEA products in other countries. GEA AWP GmbH, located in Prenzlau, Germany, has likewise achieved similar component approvals for Europe, Russia, and Japan. 

Under its brand, GEA AWP markets a great number and variety of valves and components for industrial application: a total of approx. 12,000 different variants. This extensive product portfolio covers typical requirements in refrigeration technology, the gas sector, in the food and beverage industry, and in building climate control.
