GEA GRADE Refrigeration is an Industrial Refrigeration contractor operating in the MENA region. The Jr. Service Sales Support Engineer will dedicate himself to the best of his ability to improve the profitability of the Company and its affiliates. The Jr. Service Sales Support Engineer will be reporting to the Marketing & Sales Manager.

Job Description

Your tasks

§ Map (among other things) the wishes of the customer and co-determine the sales strategy with the Head of Service Sales Support.

§ Translates a customer request into a quotation.

§ Deliver a commercially and technically sound calculation and subsequent quotation,

§ Ensure accurate quotation monitoring and follow up requirements

§ Responsible for own resource planning to meet often demanding and hectic timescales

§ After receipt of orders: prepares order confirmations, purchase orders and follows up till shipment of the material.

§ Sales support to branch offices and distributors in the region.

§ Reports both formal and informal to Marketing & Sales Manager regarding daily business in the assigned region.

§ Consults customers, suppliers and subcontractors.

§ Consults service engineers, project managers and project sales engineers.

§ Organize (project team) meetings whether or not in consultation with the Head of Sales Support

§ Transfer knowledge and apply learning experience

§ Safeguard knowledge by guiding and coaching colleagues within the Service Sales Support Team and the Sales department.

§ Focus on standardization

§ Follow internal and external developments within the discipline

Your profile

§ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Refrigeration Engineering;

§ Minimum 3 years experience in sales activities within the Middle East;

§ Fully aware of all relevant standards and guidelines, such as the EN-378,  PED and  PGS13; including country specific requirements where necessary;

§ Excellent command of the English language, verbally and in writing.

§ Arabic, German and French are an added advantage;

§ Innovative, creative and a results driven team player;

§ Good commercial, communicative and social skills
