GEA GRADE Refrigeration is an Industrial Refrigeration contractor operating in the MENA region. The General  Manager will dedicate himself to the best of his ability to improve the profitability of the Company and its affiliates. The General Manager will be reporting to the Managing Director.

The Position 

  • Analyse own market and identify potential customers for defined products and applications.

  • Develop and plan sales strategies to enhance Company's competitive position in Pakistan.

  • Manage and maintain close relationship with key clients to ensure healthy business relationship.

  • Act as a technical advisor to our clients in relation to refrigeration solutions. 

  • Responsible for the sale of refrigeration solutions in the food and chemical industry.  

  • Planning, proposal preparations, presentations to customers and contract negotiations.

  • Plan and organise sales and marketing activities together with the Marketing and Sales Manager.

  • Oversee preparation of an Annual KPIs and review progress on short and long  plans with Marketing and Sales Manger.

  • Ensure company Policies are implemented in Pakistan in equivalent with the country‘s regulations.

  • Enhance Employee relations and engagement.

  • Performance management and improvement for the country‘s employees.

  • Liasing HQ management team in Exhibition arrangements (posters, program, flyers, boost outs, brochures etc) 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering certification is required.

  • Five years experience preferably in Industrial Refrigeration.

  • Ambitious with proven track record in business development and financial management.

  • Pakistan knowlege is mandatory with broad network for F&B Organizations.

  • Excellent negotiator with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Confident individual who can work independently to meet the country‘s targets within assigned deadlines.

  • Customer oriented, proactive, creative, energetic, self-motivator who keeps himself updated with industry trends and knowledge.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.

  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise a team and  to share skills and knowledge with others.

  • Effective problem solving and mediation skills.

  • Technical ability to read, analyse and explain P&ID for different industrial refrigeration systems.

  • Maintain projects‘ financials acknowlegment EBIT, EBITDA, project accounts, etc.

  • Proficiency with microsoft office skills, preferably Axapta and Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Demonstrate ability and multiple task oriented who can perform in a fast pace business environment.  

  • Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and critical situations.
