GEA GRADE Refrigeration is an Industrial Refrigeration contractor operating in the MENA region. The Commissioning Engineer will dedicate himself to the best of his ability to improve the profitability of the Company and its affiliates. The Commissioning Engineer will be working all over the MENA region and reports to the Operations Manager.

The Position

• Troubleshooting, inspection, complete commissioning and start-up of industrial refrigeration plants and projects within MENA region.

• Develop and maintain positive customer relationship with proper documentation of the customer’s equipment and system status.

• Documents completion of work, clear and concise in commissioning reports.

• Ensure compliance of EHS as per international and company standards.

• Support and train customers in system operation remotely or at site.

• Train subordinates / clients’ technicians and Engineers on commissioning process.

• Focus on constant improvements of work flow within MENA region.

• Lead all technicians within the department to achieve individual goals and productivity.

• Provide technical support to company Sales Engineers.

• Conduct the required service / maintenance for refrigeration equipment, electrical faults or other related faults in regards to SCADA and PLC systems.

• To do & to prepare the required system programs including SCADA & PLC for all assigned projects.

• Travel within MENA region is mandatory as it is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration commissioning and troubleshooting

• Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Refrigeration Technology or Mechanical Engineering

• Sound knowledge of mechanical / electrical and controls of industrial refrigeration systems

• Excellent Knowledge in different industrial refrigeration work scope with full understanding and implementation of safety regulations

• Excellent knowledge of refrigeration products and overall system understanding

• Fluent in English both written and verbal

• Knowledge and analyses relevant to technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, etc.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
